Objective Zero facilitates connections for US military service members and Veterans with a national peer support network through secure voice, video, and text communication. Additionally, the application provides access to mental health, wellness, and Veteran-related resources. Users can sign up to engage with the Objective Zero Pathfinder network or volunteer as a Pathfinder to offer support via voice calls, video calls, and texts to Veterans. Pathfinders undergo basic suicide prevention training and have the opportunity to access advanced training.

It is important to note that Objective Zero is not a crisis line for suicide intervention and should not be utilized in emergency situations. Individuals experiencing thoughts of self-harm or harm to others should immediately contact 911 or visit their local emergency room. The information provided on the Objective Zero app, including text, graphics, images, guidance from Objective Zero Pathfinders or peer supporters, and other content available on the app, is intended for informational purposes only.
